core desired feelings

Core Desired Feelings in action

I’m standing in my bathroom, brushing teets and looking at my core desired feelings on my bathroom mirror. Faith. Joy. Community. Alignment. Authenticity. What can I do today to get to feel the way I most want to feel?

This is how I start my everyday. Core desired feelings in mind when deliberately planning my day.

Faith - my morning practice, starting with gratitude for what I have and by meditating and listening inwards.

Joy - whenever I get too serious I take a dance break or watch something funny on Youtube.

Community - I make sure I share my everyday life with people that I feel safe with. I invest in my relationships and try to contribute with my light wherever I go. And share my darkness when I need to get it out from the shadow.

Alignment - before action. It’s written everywhere in my productivity planner. Because it’s my absolute experience that whatever I share and create in alignment gives love ripples everywhere for both me and the people affected by me. When out of alignment I deal with what brought me out of alignment to get back into it.

Authenticity - I try to share as vulnerably as I can. Both online and in the in the real world. Or both are real to me. I wanna live my life close to my heart and I listen to others with my whole being.

Here I am again, before bed, in front of my bathroom mirror, brushing teeth. How has this day been? Well, the more of my core desired feelings I’ve created the better the day. It’s as simple as that. Because life is nothing but a long string of moments patched together by time. And we can create so many magical moments in a day, by being aware of the way we want to feel and how to go about creating those feelings in our lives.

If you wanna know more about this process (are in Stockholm and understand Swedish) check out this retreat that I’ve created in November. It’ll be a magical weekend!

With all my love,

Helena

My intentions for the fall

I believe intentions are important. When you start with intention you tell yourself and the universe what direction you want to go in. We can’t always control the outcome or decide how things go but we can always do our best and ask for support along the way.

“It is more important to be of pure intention than of perfect action.”
Ilyas Kassam

Intentions are different from goals for me, they’re more a direction and feeling than a fixed place I want to go.

Feeling my core desired feelings has been one of my primary intentions the last few years. This currently means that I reach for faith, joy, alignment, community and authenticity in whatever I do. But I also use intentions as guideposts when going into a new project, when traveling or starting a new relationship.

Intentions need to be flexible, as life flows. But they do need to exist, for you to create the life you want to live, standing in your power. Or as Gary Zukav puts it;

"When we align our thoughts, emotions, and actions with the highest part of ourselves, we are filled with enthusiasm, purpose, and meaning... When the personality comes fully to serve the energy of its soul, that is authentic empowerment."

These are some of my intentions for this season:

I intend to bring love to whatever I’m doing

I intend to always prioritize alignment before action

I intend to be more and more present

I intend to focus on my core desired feelings everyday

What are your intentions?

With all my love,

Helena

What if your obstacle is your to-do?

Looking ahead into a brand New Year to come, most of us set goals in both business and personal life. I try to live by my Core Desire Feelings but still, I realize that concrete goals help me structure my business in a way that feels really good to me.

Our goals sometimes feel far away or as if we can't reach them because there's too much blocking us. Too many obstacles. But what if the obstacles we perceive is just a to-do and not an obstacle at all. Let me give you some examples.

My goal is to write a book but I don't know how to write/ publish/ edit/ structure it so I can't. Therefore my first to-do is to learn how to write/ publish/ edit/ structure.

My goal is to find a house by the water but I don't know where to find it/ don't have the money. Therefore my to-do is to ask someone if they know of good locations, good brokers etc/ figure out a way to save/ make the money I need.

My goal is to heal my body to full functionality and no pain but I don't think I can/ don't know how it works/ don't believe in its ability. Therefore my to-do is to find inspiration, information and build the faith I need to tap/ leave room for the body's self-healing powers.

Whatever goal your aiming at in the new year - don't focus on the obstacle, realize what you need to do to get there and take small daily action in the right direction.

And just a reminder, make sure you get to feel today the way that goal would make you feel in the future.

With all my love,

Helena
