happy

Behind every negative behavior hides a fear

Back to the basics, there is only love and fear, and fear is not real.

People that are happy with themselves, feel loved and valued, live in accordance with their values and take good care of themselves have no reason to behave poorly towards another human being. That's the truth. And the same goes for you. And me.

Sure, sometimes we haven't slept well and so we snap at the bus driver. Or we haven't eaten in a while so leave our partner with a mean comment. But if we go to the root of who we are and why we're here; we want to do good. And we want to be good. To others. To ourselves. To the world.

If we fail with this it's because we're afraid of something. What's your fear?

The choice is always yours

You always have a choice to decide how you want to react. You can always choose your perception.

Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom. Viktor E. Frankl

Do you realize what potential lies in this? You never have to be a victim. I know, as humans, sometimes we do, but we don't need to stay there for long. Choose what you want to do with that space. It's never about the circumstances. There's plenty of people who has it all but still kill themselves because of their misery and more people with nothing who are perfectly happy with their life.

We live in a society and time that tries to convince us that it's about the external stuff. Don't buy it. It's not true.

Don't let your ego take over

We all have ego. It's neither good or bad, it just is. But we don't want our ego to run the show all together.

I did a high profile project recently. Right after I felt a sting of disappointment with myself. My ego laser focusing on the details I could have done differently. The things I should or shouldn't have said. So tiring. I realized this was my ego being caught up in a loop, chewing on its favorite chew toy, my performance and perfection.

So, I deliberately chose to change focus. What was the feedback from the audience? How did my client feel about my delivery? Did I help someone? And foremost, did I do my best from my current circumstances? Was I aligned with my intuition? Was I acting out of love? Genuine appreciation, happy, yes, yes yes, yes.

Your ego is there and will always be, but practice witnessing it, and, if it's all you learn to do, don't believe every word it says!

With all my love,

Here's an experiment for you

If you follow me on social media you know I'm currently doing a wonderful course with Jess Lively. It's all about flowing with intention, law of attraction and alignment. It's life changing in many ways. If you would choose to go down this path, it's a total paradigm shift.

We're used to wait for things to happen to get to feel what we want to feel. According to the law of attraction (which is also scientifically proven at this point) we need to reverse this order. First, you feel what you want to feel, then things start happening - the things you want that is. Because, you attract what you are.

For the next couple of days, try this: get into alignment before you do anything. Alignment is basically feeling great. (And, if you're in a rut right now, don't sweat it, be compassionate with yourself and try this another time.) Make sure that the first things you do in the morning are things that you love and that makes you happy. If it means you need to get up a bit earlier to have time for what you love, then go ahead and get to bed earlier. If you can't come up with anything, try a rampage of appreciation, meaning writing out things that you are grateful for (preferably 5 pages of it).

Watch how your day unfolds when you've taken charge of your initial state. Let me know how it goes!

Everything is progress. Progress equals happiness.

What if this is true? Does it ring true to you?

If everything happens for a reason, if there's a meaning to every event, then everything is progress. What if we are here to grow and learn and all experiences help us do just that, then we're always progressing in our development.

Advancement in our soul is what we're here for, that's what makes our soul happy, advancement is progress. Therefore progress equals happiness.

What do you think?

I don't know that this is true, but I like to believe it is. We will never know anything for certain as long as we are here, that's one of the perks or pitfalls of life, so, we might as well decide what we want to believe.

I believe we all have an ego mind that plays a lot of tricks on us. I believe we have a soul that is so much wiser. Sometimes we mix them up. That's okay. We're all human. It's all progress. Progress equals happiness.

With all my love,

Helena
